Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Indian benchmark indices opened flat amid weak global cues. The Sensex was up 46.94 points or 0.08% at 58434.87, and the Nifty was up 14.90 points or 0.09% at 17412.40. Broader markets, too, reflected the tepid mood. Sectorally, Nifty Metal, Nifty Pharma, and Nifty Auto defied the overall market mood. However, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Realty were bogged down in early trade. Among individual stocks, shares of Titan gained over 1% after net profit jumped three-fold to Rs 790 crore in Q1FY23. Besides, shares of Adani Ports climbed 0.7% ahead of their Q1FY23 results.

Reliance Industries announced the date of its forty-fifth Annual General Meeting (AGM) as August 29, 2022. The meeting will take place at 2 pm through video conferencing. The company has fixed August 19 as the record date for the FY22 dividend, which might be declared at the AGM. It has also fixed Monday, August 22, 2022 as the “cut-off date” for the purpose of determining the members eligible to vote on the resolutions set out in the notice of the AGM and to attend the AGM, according to a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
