Binance Becomes the Official Exchange Partner of 64th GRAMMY Awards
  • Binance Exchange signed a deal to become the official cryptocurrency exchange partner of the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
  • According to the Recording Academy, Binance is the perfect partner for the GRAMMYs to assist their mission to ‘empower music people around the world.’
  • The collaboration aims to bring multiple Web3 tech solutions and experiences to the projects and events.

Binance has announced its partnership with the Recording Academy, the organization behind the GRAMMY Awards. According to the official blogpost, Binance has become the official crypto exchange partner of the upcoming 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Binance has secured a deal with the Recording Academy to bring awareness to the crypto industry. At the same time, it aims to familiarize GRAMMY attendees with blockchain technologies.

Moreover, Recording Academy Co-President, Panos Panay highlighted that the deal aims to develop new monetization avenues for the organization and to create a new experience for music fans.

Panos added:

As the leading player in the crypto and blockchain space and with its community-focused approach, Binance is the perfect partner for the GRAMMYs and for our mission to empower music people around the world.

Likewise, Binance Co-founder Yi He shared his thoughts on the constantly ‘changing demands of the community’, saying:

Starting with the GRAMMYs, we are excited to work together with the Recording Academy to bring fresh new experiences powered by blockchain and all the great things Web3 technology can bring to entertainment.

Notably, this is Binance’s first collaboration with a music organization. Though the Binance NFT platform opened last year, the crypto exchange is still actively working with music artists. In fact, the international luxury brand Jimmy Choo launched its first NFT collection on the platform.

On the other hand, the Recording Academy’s collaboration with Binance is not the organization’s first journey into the world of music and cryptocurrency. In November last year, the Recording Academy made a significant stride into the business by partnering with OneOf, an NFT marketplace funded by record producer Quincy Jones on the Tezos blockchain.
