Michael Ovitz, the co-founder of Hollywood powerhouse Creative Artists Agency, also praised MoonPay’s technology, saying that it lowers the barrier to enter into the crypto market.

After securing $555 million in a Series A round headed by Coatue and Tiger Global Management in December, MoonPay increased its total valuation to $3.4 billion. The site now has successfully made its way to a number of 10 million subscribers in 160 countries.
