Binance Announces Crypto Education Initiatives in India

Binance recently announced the simultaneous launch of three educational initiatives that will help educate Indian investors and students about cryptocurrency and the blockchain ecosystem.

The crypto exchange company stated that Indian regulators and policymakers see the lack of crypto education as an area of concern as it prevents people from adopting crypto.

The first of the education initiatives will target the student demographic and is titled “Blockchain for Good.” This platform will give students the chance to come up with solutions for making crypto more accessible and inclusive.

A free webinar will also be held and will be hosted by crypto influencers like Kashif Raza, Neha Nagar, and Aditya Saini. The webinar will focus on teaching the basic concepts of blockchain and crypto while demystifying myths related to crypto.

The founder of Bitinning, Kashif Raza, stated that “the biggest roadblock in the current crypto education system is that there are not enough platforms providing education in a simplified manner.”

The third initiative will be a learn-to-earn program that will allow people to earn crypto all while learning about the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. The head of APAC at Binance, Leon Foong, stated that “we hope to create the right incentives for users to do more thorough research and make better-informed investment decisions.”

Binance has also partnered with top-tier university, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) as a title sponsor for its cultural fest Rendezvous. The fest will showcase use cases which includes non-fungible token (NFTs) tickets and certificates as well as proof-of-attendance protocol (POAP).
