In reading his latest, we are reminded of Strauss and Howe’s Fourth Turning, a time of upheaval and change as the old social, economic and political order gives way to the new (projected to begin sometime around 2030.) The challenge for most investors will be bridging the eras – getting from one to the other assets reasonably intact.
