Putin warns of ‘growing’ threat of nuclear war

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Wednesday that the threat of a nuclear war is “growing.”

Putin stressed that Moscow has not deployed nuclear arms in other countries, unlike the United States. Claiming his country has the “most advanced weapons,” the Russian leader insisted he does not want to “wave them around.”

Still, Putin stated Russia would consider using nukes in response to an attack. He added Russia is prepared to defend its allies and national interests with “all available means.”
