The United Kingdom arm of cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp has joined the list of registered firms under the country’s Financial Conduct Authority.

According to the FCA list of registered crypto-asset firms as of June 13, Bitstamp U.K. Limited and Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:) Limited became the first companies to join other registered entities in the U.K. after roughly six months — the FCA added Hidden Road Partners and MoonPay in December 2022. The FCA listed 42 registered crypto firms in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism requirements, among others.
